Trouble on the Road

When on the open road, you can identify natural hazards, signs of banditry and other common dangers on your way.

Caravan Issues

When observing a cart, caravan or similar vehicle that has a problem, you can generally identify what the cause is.

Belabored Animals

When observing a horse, ox or similar animal, you can identify if it is in good condition or not and if it is suffering from any common problems.

Price Spotting (Active)

You can use your expertise to determine if the price of a common or uncommon good is particularly high or low, as well as by how much. Additionally, you can appraise the value of common items and goods so long as they are commonly traded.

Navigation by Eye (Assured)

You can navigate with ease during daylight, so long as you are outdoors or have been able to see sufficient landmarks on your journey since your last rest (as determined by the GM). The target of your navigation when using this expertise must be a cardinal or ordinal direction, or — if you know your current location — the target can be somewhere you know the position of (such as a place on a map or a town you recently left).

Recognise Leaders

You can identify who's in command of a hierarchy on-sight if both they and their subordinates are visible to you.

Eye for Equipment

You recognise common weapons or armor on-sight, recalling your understanding of their quality, features and abilities so long as they are of familiar design (e.g. if wielded by common opponents or if they are on the standard equipment list).
